"Many of them have grown with me and have watched me evolve in different parts of my life and career," she told Vogue Italia on June 28. "They're really understanding that I'm human."
Zendaya, 25, noted that "even the hardcore ones" want her to be happy and are "respectful of my boundaries" in what she chooses "to keep a little bit more private and keep for myself."
However, it became harder for her to stay private once Euphoria premiered in 2019 and completely catapulted her stardom. "Recently I've had more of a change happening in regards to reactions when I meet people or how people interact with me on a daily basis," she said. "For so long I've been able to maintain a little bit of anonymity in a way where I could go off and do things and still live a pretty normal life."
Her new status admittedly comes with "new sets of challenges and pressures" but Zendaya's been in the industry since she was 14 with Disney series Shake It Up. "Thankfully I've had a little bit of time to ease and grow my experience in a way that wasn't just completely an overnight change."
Zendaya is trending on Twitter today (June 15) and it's not for a reason you might think -- she's pregnant, or that is what a rumor that has been widespread says.
People are being tricked on TikTok, with the rumor making its way to Twitter. On TikTok, people are getting #Krissed as fake stories about the Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are being shared before Kris Jenner pops up on screen to troll the watcher and confirm the story was a fake.
People reacted to the "news" on Twitter with messages of fake congratulations or deep despair for the Euphoria actress. See the reactions below:
