Lizzo Urges Democrats: ‘Agree On A Candidate And End This Nightmare’

Lizzo has a message for Democrats, as the 2020 presidential election gets closer.

The singer and actress recently tweeted to her followers that when it comes to a democratic nominee, they must choose wisely. She explains, "trying to convince people that the president is racist is like trying to tell them the sky is blue- they either choose to see it or not. I'd rather spend my time urging the American people who oppose his racist regime to agree on a democratic nominee and end this nightmare."

Billboard explains that this isn't the first time that Lizzo has spoken up on hard-hitting topics. She is known to tweet and speak about Trump openly, and gets on social media often to discuss a variety of issues including race and gender.
