The 2025 Grammy Awards certainly showcased jaw-dropping fashion looks, but not all of them were necessarily for the right reasons. While some stars stunned with impeccable style, others pushed the boundaries (and our buttons). Among the most controversial was Bianca Censori, who made an unforgettable and entirely inappropriate statement by attending the ceremony completely naked.

While Censori’s uhm, attire (or lack of) may have stolen the spotlight, she wasn’t the only one whose fashion choices at the 2025 Grammy Awards raised some eyebrows. Here’s a rundown of stars who might have regretted their fashion choices during the Grammys.

Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves' 2025 Grammy Awards outfit is a letdown. Her glittery skirt is red carpet-worthy, but her white tank top is too casual for an event like the Grammys. However, her hair and makeup were on point, and winning the Grammy for Best Country Song for “The Architect” helps overlook the fact that she’s included in this list.

Jennifer Lopez

To be fair, Jennifer Lopez’s outfit isn’t necessarily “worse.” She might even make it onto some best-dressed lists. What led us to include her in our worst-dressed list is the fact that we know she can do better (who could forget the iconic green Versace dress she wore to the 42nd Grammy Awards?). She wore a plunging dress that complemented her figure, but we feel the color was lackluster. We actually prefer her spiderweb-inspired dress from the Sundance Film Festival premiere of “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

Jacob Collier

Okay, Jacob Collier’s outfit is technically not bad, we just feel like there’s a lot going on in his technicolored suit. The singer and multi-instrumentalist who is nominated for Album of the Year, Best Global Music Performance for “A Rock Somewhere” featuring Anoushka Shankar & Varijashree Venugopal, and Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella for “Bridge over Troubled Water” with John Legend and Tori Kelly (for which they won) could have looked better with a more subdued choice of clothing.

Lakecia Benjamin

Lakecia Benjamin attended the 2025 Grammy Awards looking like a superhero, complete with a cape and thigh high platform boots. The jazz and funk saxophonist’s outfit looked out of place and did not do her any favors.

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow’s dress feels a bit too casual for an awards show. It looks more like something she’d wear to a music festival or a film screening, not a red-carpet event. While the tube dress flatters her toned body, she still appears underdressed for the biggest night in the music industry.

Tori Kelly

The cut of Tori Kelly’s dress didn’t do her any favors. The sleeves of her red gown were too long, the hemline was uneven, and the extra material across her shoulders didn’t add to the look. Unfortunately, the dress just didn't really work. Still, despite being on this list, Tori and Collier took home the Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella, which is a major achievement.

Julia Fox

Well, at least Julia Fox she is dressed more than her ex’s Kanye West's current wife. Everything's relative! We just don’t understand what she was trying to achieve. Fox was wearing a black thong, oversized leather jacket, and a black see through top and skirt made of stockings. She accessorized her look with dishwasher latex gloves (no, we’re not kidding).

Shakira

Similar to Jennifer Lopez, we know Shakira can do better than this orange bodysuit with black lace detailing that’s forgettable. The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer won for Best Latin Pop Album for 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.'

Clairo

Clairo’s outfit for the Grammy Awards looked more like her “Sunday best” than something fit for a red-carpet event. The dress felt too casual and overly ruffled. While it did highlight her small waist, the hoodie seemed out of place. The singer’s album ‘Charm’ was nominated for a Best Alternative Music Album.

Jaden Smith

Jaden Smith’s Grammy Awards outfit could have worked. But we don’t understand why he needed to wear a black, goth looking, castle headpiece on his head. The headpiece was created by ABODI and its design team posted on their Instagram, “The artistic headpiece combines the mysterious elegance of ABODI Transylvania with a bold, modern design inspired by Transylvanian history and the vampire legends of the Bathori.”

Doechii

Doechii won Best Rap Album during the 2025 Grammy Awards. Sadly, her outfit during the red carpet is not winning her a spot in any best dressed list. The rapper wore an outfit that reminds us of job interviews, although it did highlight her hourglass figure.

St. Vincent

Another artist who seemed underdressed for the Grammy Awards was St. Vincent. Nominated for four awards, three of which she won (Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Performance for “Flea,” and Best Alternative Music Album), the “Broken Man” singer wore a long blazer, stockings, and black velvet gloves. While her outfit might work at another event, it felt out of place on the red carpet.
