Jennifer Lopez Honored ‘Hero’ Ben Affleck On Father’s Day
Jennifer Lopez isn’t letting the ongoing breakup rumors stop her from sharing her love and appreciation for Ben Affleck. With this weekend’s Father’s Day celebration, the Atlas star shared a tribute to Affleck, who has three children.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Lopez, 54, shared a black-and-white photo of Affleck, 51, from his 2001 film, Pearl Harbor. The actress and singer said of her husband of nearly two years: “Our hero [white heart emoji]. Happy Father’s Day.” In the throwback photo, Affleck is wearing a leather jacket on the plane as his character, Captain Rafe McCawley.
She followed that up with another throwback black-and-white photo, but this time, with her father, David Lopez. She captioned the photos of her young father in a truck: “Happy Father’s Day Daddy [white heart emoji].”
Affleck shares children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emma with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. Breakup rumors have been swirling for months now, but the pair have been spotted together and at the same places several times.
She and the twins joined him and his family at his son Samuel’s graduation party, held at the actor’s rental home in Brentwood, California. Per gossip website TMZ, Bennifer 2.0 kept their distance at Sam’s graduation ceremony.
Then, Affleck reportedly spent Father’s Day with Jennifer Garner, despite Lopez’s tribute post on Instagram. Last year, Lopez posted a thirst trap photo of Affleck on Father’s Day as part of her tribute post to him. She paired the thirst trap with an adorable video of the two in intimate moments from the present and the past, as well as working together. The first clip showed Affleck sitting in an office chair and turning around to show a big grin to the camera. Lopez cut in a few moments from her appearance on The View around that time as she talked about what an “amazing dad” Affleck is.
Last week, we reported that Lopez and Affleck’s Beverly Hills marital home, which they bought together last year for $60.8 million, has been quietly placed on the market. After two years of searching, they purchased the property in May 2023 and moved in soon after closing the deal.
The 46,000 square-foot home has five acres of land, with an astounding 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, an indoor sports complex, a sports lounge, and a bar. The home also includes a 5,000-square-foot guest house, a two-bedroom guard house and a 12-car garage.
