Places to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the CSRA

Cinco de Mayo is coming up this Thursday! Curious what it’s all about? During the Franco-Mexican War, the 5th of May was the date the Mexican army defeated the French at the Battle of Puebla.  That happened back in 1862. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is celebrating Mexican culture and heritage.  Or is it really an excuse to just eat tacos and shoot tequila?

Around the CSRA, we have a lot of great Mexican restaurants that will be hosting special events, food and drink specials, music, games, etc. on Thursday.  Check out some of the top spots below!
