TikTok has a lot of pros and cons.  It can definitely suck up a lot of your time if you let it.  But, you can also de-stress with some good laughs, or even learn a thing or two.

While I haven’t been mindlessly scrolling a lot lately, because life has been BUSY, I always love when I stumble across inspiration.

People who are overcoming the odds.  The ones who are taking challenges head on.  Pushing through and finally deciding to change their lives.  Sure, I’ve never been extremely overweight, but I’ve had my own demons I’ve struggled with throughout the years.  We all have our things.  Even though we may struggle in different areas, we are ALL human.

I think TikTok has really brought to light just how alike we really are.  If you’ve spent any time on the app, have you ever come across a video that made you say: “I thought I was the only one”?

I’ve been there a LOT!  It’s a great reminder that we aren’t alone.  While we are all unique, there are many commonalities– across age, race, gender… and even cultures.  Although some of those videos from people talking about weird things Americans do are really eye-opening, right?

As someone who is very fitness oriented, I love watching videos of other people on their fitness journeys.  It’s not only inspiring, but it has taught me a few things along the way.
