I love the effort and creativity that goes into Halloween light shows.  I’ve noticed that it’s been a new concept that has become more and more popular every year.  What used to be something you would only see at Christmas has become, in my opinion, way more popular and entertaining during Spooky Season.  There are so many fun ways to get creative with the decorations which helps give off the whole vibe of the show.

Getting Creative With Halloween Light Shows

What’s more entertaining to think about is the knowledge and skill set that goes into programming these shows.  Everything from the number of talking LED lawn Jack-o’-lanterns to the giant LED talking skull that is displayed on the second story in the middle of the house.  The preciseness of these visual masterpieces is what sets each one apart from the other.

Halloween Light Shows Are Better Than Christmas Decorations

I know a lot of people who prefer Halloween over Christmas when it comes to decorating.  They’re the ones with props all over they’re lawns like tombstones, giant spider webs, and monsters like Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers on display.  They always bring up the classic debate that A Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie and not a Christmas movie.

I’ve Found Some Favorites

I love the effort and creativity that goes into Halloween light shows and while I haven’t been able to find any local ones yet, I have come across several with a fun soundtrack.  I have two favorites below.  One of them uses Eddie’s guitar scene from Stranger Things and the other loops a phrase from It and turns it into a dance mix.  It’s pretty creepy to listen to but the creativity and timing, like all of these, makes one of my favorite things about Halloween.

I love watching Halloween light shows this time of year.

  • Halloween Light Show 1

This show is programmed to Toxicity by System of a Down.  I have never listened to the band but this video definitely gives off the high-energy spooky vibes.

  • Halloween Light Show 2

A movie-themed show is a fun concept. This is a fun nostalgic light show if you’re a fan of the 1998 spooky comedy, Beetlejuice.

  • Halloween Light Show 3

This one is set to a remix of Somebody’s Watching Me by Rockwell feat. Michael Jackson.  I like the skeleton band in the front of the house.

  • Halloween Light Show 4

Here’s a show set to a more dramatic version of Somebody’s Watching Me.  I love when the eye balls display on the house.

  • Halloween Light Show 5

Here’s one for both Halloween and Christmas if tweaked a little.  This one is set to This Is Halloween from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

  • Halloween Light Show 6

This show is set to Devil Went Down To Georgia.  The multiple camera angles make it one of my favorites.

  • Halloween Light Show 7

This one IS my favorite.  This show incorporates Stranger Things and Eddie’s guitar scene from the previous season.

  • Halloween Light Show 8

My vote for the creepiest one I’ve ever seen goes to this one.  There’s a whole IT concept behind it and that movie still creeps me out.
