I love the effort and creativity that goes into Halloween light shows. I’ve noticed that it’s been a new concept that has become more and more popular every year. What used to be something you would only see at Christmas has become, in my opinion, way more popular and entertaining during Spooky Season. There are so many fun ways to get creative with the decorations which helps give off the whole vibe of the show.
Getting Creative With Halloween Light Shows
What’s more entertaining to think about is the knowledge and skill set that goes into programming these shows. Everything from the number of talking LED lawn Jack-o’-lanterns to the giant LED talking skull that is displayed on the second story in the middle of the house. The preciseness of these visual masterpieces is what sets each one apart from the other.
Halloween Light Shows Are Better Than Christmas Decorations
I know a lot of people who prefer Halloween over Christmas when it comes to decorating. They’re the ones with props all over they’re lawns like tombstones, giant spider webs, and monsters like Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers on display. They always bring up the classic debate that A Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie and not a Christmas movie.
I’ve Found Some Favorites
I love the effort and creativity that goes into Halloween light shows and while I haven’t been able to find any local ones yet, I have come across several with a fun soundtrack. I have two favorites below. One of them uses Eddie’s guitar scene from Stranger Things and the other loops a phrase from It and turns it into a dance mix. It’s pretty creepy to listen to but the creativity and timing, like all of these, makes one of my favorite things about Halloween.
