Rocky Branch Golf Course

Rocky Branch Golf Course
4711 Double Branches Rd.
Lincolnton, GA 30817
706-359-4303

What makes Rocky Branch Golf Course so enjoyable to play?  It's a challenging course on a relatively small piece of land.  There are numerous holes that reflect the elevation changes of the Double Branches community.  On the front nine, you'll find more open spaces, and is fairly easy.  Make the turn to the back nine, and you'll see more trees that define the holes, making the fairways tighter, and the holes harder.  And the creek that goes through Rocky Branch, invites you to hit over it five different times. Reactions from first-timers playing Rocky Branch Golf Course?  They like the pro shop, the large clubhouse, a very friendly staff, good greens with good pacing, and they truly enjoy playing a shorter and more strategic layout!

28 of the Best Images From the Final Round of the 2022 Masters at Augusta National

The world's top-ranked golfer proved exactly why he just vaulted into that position, as Scottie Scheffler won the 86th Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. (Read the full story here.)

Scheffler topped Rory McIlroy by three strokes to take home the record $2.7 million prize to go along with the iconic Green Jacket. He made it interesting with a scary double-bogey on the last, when his nerves finally got the better of him.

McIlroy did try to make things interesting, shooting a final-round record-tying 8-under, 64. But Scheffler never blinked much.

Here's some of our favorite images from the remarkable final round.
