Masters Field Set With One Spot Open as 90th Tournament Approaches
The 90th Masters has its field locked in. One spot remains open, though. That goes to whoever wins the Texas Open.

Gary Woodland punched his ticket by winning the Houston Open. Four others squeezed in through the top 50 world ranking published on March 30.
Daniel Berger, Nicolai Hojgaard, Jake Knapp, and Matt McCarty snagged invitations when that ranking cutoff came around.
Rory McIlroy returns to defend his 2025 title. Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Hideki Matsuyama, and Dustin Johnson all secured their spots as previous winners.
Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Adam Scott, and Phil Mickelson will compete again. Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, and Danny Willett join that group of past winners.
Recent major winners pack the roster. Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka, and Justin Thomas got in through PGA Championship victories within the last five years.
Bryson DeChambeau, Wyndham Clark, and Matt Fitzpatrick qualified with U.S. Open wins. Brian Harman, Cameron Smith, and Collin Morikawa earned spots as British Open winners from the past five years. Cameron Young made it by capturing The Players Championship within the last three years.
Six amateurs will tee off. Mason Howell and Jackson Herrington qualified as U.S. Amateur winners and runners-up. Ethan Fang secured his invitation as the British Amateur winner.
Brandon Holtz plays as the U.S. Mid-Amateur winner. Fifa Laopakdee and Matio Pulcini got in through the Asia-Pacific Amateur and Latin America Amateur championships.
Ludvig Aberg, Justin Rose, and Sungjae Im qualified by finishing in the top 12 at the 2025 tournament. Robert MacIntyre, Viktor Hovland, and Tyrrell Hatton made it with top-four finishes at the 2025 U.S. Open.
