Annual High School Baseball Showcase at SRP Park Starting Feb. 27
The Augusta GreenJackets will host the SRP Park High School Baseball Showcase presented by TaxSlayer this spring.

Take them out to the ballgame. An evening at SRP Park is only one of many options when confronting those who criticize the Augusta area for having nothing to do.
Augusta TodayThe Augusta GreenJackets will host the SRP Park High School Baseball Showcase presented by TaxSlayer this spring. Eight schools from the Central Savannah River Area will compete at the pro baseball facility. Four matchups are scheduled between February and March, building excitement before the team's season opener on April 14.
"We look forward to another great high school Baseball Showcase at SRP Park with TaxSlayer," said Brandon Greene, general manager of the team, in the Augusta GreenJackets release. "We've got a strong line-up of schools taking the field, and we hope to see the community come out and support the program. It's an amazing opportunity for these student-athletes and gears us up for another season of GreenJackets Baseball."
The showcase kicks off Feb. 27 with Augusta Christian School facing Evans High School. Gates open at 3 p.m. JV games start at 3:30 p.m., and varsity games begin around 6 p.m.
Aquinas High School will play Glasscock County High School on March 5. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. varsity game.
Augusta Eagles face GSIC on March 16. Gates open at 6 p.m. First pitch flies at 6:30 p.m.
The final matchup has Greenbrier High School against Fox Creek High School on March 30. For the March 30 game, gates open at 3:30 p.m. JV games at 4 p.m. Varsity games around 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $10 plus fees per person. Children 3 and under get in free. Parking is available in the Stadium Deck across from the facility for $6 per vehicle.
