Augusta’s Miller Theater Announces Free 2026 Film Series Featuring Classic Movies
The Miller Theater has announced the 2026 Movies at The Miller series with first screening set for February.

SpecialThe Miller Theater has announced its 2026 Movies at the Miller series. Queensborough National Bank and Trust sponsors the event. Admission is free, but advanced reservations are required.
Groundhog Day kicks things off on Feb. 15, 2026. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial screens on April 19. Mamma Mia! follows on May 17, National Treasure plays on July 19, and Cars shows on Aug. 16.

The theater sits at 708 Broad St. in downtown Augusta. It opened in 1940 as a movie house and served patrons for four decades before shutting down in 1984.
A nearly $25 million renovation brought the Art Moderne-style building back to life in 2018. Builders preserved its old-time appeal while adding new features.
Queensborough National Bank and Trust helped start Movies at the Miller in 2022. The series honors the theater's history while thanking the people who helped reopen it.
