The Princeton Review's 2025 rankings placed UGA at No. 12 among top public schools. The rating stems from strong marks in teaching quality, cost, and graduate success rates.

UGA placed No. 8 for its graduate connections, grabbed the No. 10 spot for student aid, and ranked No. 16 in student work placement. These numbers paint a clear picture of the school's strengths.

"It is gratifying to see the University of Georgia ranked among the nation's top universities," said President Jere W. Morehead in a statement on UGA's website. "These accomplishments reflect the dedication and talent of our exceptional faculty, staff, and students whose efforts continue to elevate the university's reputation and impact."

Next year's class shows striking promise. From a pool of 47,860 hopefuls, about 6,200 students made it in. These first-years boast a 4.17 GPA, with SAT scores of 1356 and ACT scores reaching 31.

The incoming class shows exceptional preparation. Students completed an average of 11 college-level courses through AP, IB, or dual enrollment before setting foot on campus.

Money Magazine gave UGA 4.5 stars, noting its strong graduation rates and financial support for students.

In Niche's assessment, UGA claimed spot No. 11 among public schools nationwide, earning an A+. The school topped charts for campus life and secured elite positions in sports management, business, and communication studies.
