Thunder Over Evans

Thunder Over Evans is a free public celebration of Armed Forces Day. The annual event features live music, a drone show, food vendors, and a locally legendary fireworks display. How legendary? Legendary enough that the event now issues a warning to people with PTSD or sensitivity to loud sounds and bright lights that the fireworks display, which begins at 9:15 p.m., may not be for them. The recommended Thunder packing list includes chair, blankets, sunglasses, and ear protection. Pets, tenet, canopies and large coolers are not allowed.

Promenade and Paint is a unique Augusta experience combining public art appreciation and hands-on creation. The event begins with a guided tour of Downtown Augusta's murals led by Michael Wolff of Augusta Adventures. It concludes with a mural-making session hosted by local artist Baruti Tucker, known for his "Ahfingah" finger-painting method. Originally from Staten Island, Tucker moved to Augusta in 2011 and co-owns The Treehouse juice bar. His work explores themes of African descent, freedom, and identity.
Coheed and Cambria with Special Guest Periphery

Enjoy a scenic stroll between stops with your guide, who will highlight historic and modern landmarks along Broad Street. Private trots are available on any date and time with just 48 hours' notice (minimum of four people) if you want a more personal experience, which you can book via Instagram, Facebook, or email.
