Augusta is full of opportunities for hands-on family fun this weekend, including inflatables for the kids, symphonic music, themed sports, and artistic workshops. Kids have a blast at The Big Bounce America touring inflatable event, and the Augusta Symphony returns to the stage to enthrall the city. Disc golf fans display their skills in a dedicated tournament, while other happenings around town showcase tactile art.

The Big Bounce America, the world's largest touring inflatable event, is coming to Augusta. This family-focused festival includes attractions such as the World's Biggest Bounce House, a 24,000-square-foot inflatable complete with slides, ball pits, and live DJs. Other highlights are The Giant, a 900-foot-long obstacle course; OctoBlast, an ocean-themed foam party; AirSPACE, a space-themed wonderland; and Sport Slam, a bouncy sports arena. Sessions are tailored for various age groups, including toddlers, juniors, bigger kids, and adults.

Join the Augusta Symphony at the Miller Theater for “Celebrating Augusta,” part of the Piedmont Augusta Symphony Series. Under the direction of Music Director Dirk Meyer, this concert showcases masterworks that combine powerful music with stunning visual storytelling. Nicholas Bardonnay, the guest artist, adds photo choreography to the mix, with 36 images projected in both slow- and fast-paced slides. This program features Khatchaturian's “Suite from Spartacus,” Still's “Symphony No. 1,” Bernstein's “Candide Overture,” and Respighi's “Pines of Rome.”

Join us for an unforgettable day of disc golf action at Five Star Disc Golf for the May the 4th Be with You Disc Golf Tournament. This is an excellent opportunity to have fun with friends, whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time competitor. As a tribute, the event will be played in a one-round doubles tournament format on the Joint Chiefs of Staff layout, which is nine holes from the Marine/Navy course and nine holes from the Army/Air Force course.
