What's Masters Week without a little weather to throw things off. Augusta National Golf Club won't open as scheduled Monday morning for patrons, the club announced Sunday night.

"Due to expected inclement weather and safety concerns, patron gates will not open as scheduled for Monday's practice round," the Masters release said. "All patron parking lots will remain closed until further notice. No patrons should approach Augusta National Golf Club until more details are released."

Officials said the next update would come at 8 a.m. Monday.

Weather is expected to get a little interesting Monday, with the National Weather Service saying 1-2 inches of rain is possible.

"A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. High near 75. Southwest wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible."

After Monday's rain, things get better for the rest of the week, until Thursday night and Friday morning. The NWS says there's a 30-40 percent chance of rain right now.
