Selena Gomez recently put her fiancé, Benny Blanco, to the ultimate makeup challenge by letting him do her makeup using products from her Rare Beauty brand. The entire experience was captured in a hilarious video, shared on Gomez's Instagram and TikTok on Thursday, March 6.

The video begins with Blanco asking, "Where do I start?" before accidentally dropping the camera while reaching for a Rare Beauty pressed powder. After they get things back on track, Blanco asks, "Should I use my fingers?" prompting Gomez to remind him he could use a makeup brush.

As Blanco starts applying the powder to her nose, he exclaims, “Oh, wait. That’s pretty good!” causing Gomez to burst into laughter. But then, as he continues, she tells him, “That’s good, babe. Now I’m proud,” when he applies the powder more evenly across her face.

Things get even funnier when Blanco picks up liquid contour. "Okay, okay. So, what am I countering?" he asks, making both of them laugh. Blanco then draws lines on Gomez's cheekbones, saying she "always" does “stuff like this” and blends it across her cheeks. "Why isn’t it doing nothing? When you do it, it looks so good," he comments, clearly frustrated but still trying.

Gomez offers her help by telling him to apply lip oil, which he finds "so smooth." “Okay, not bad where you put it,” Gomez says, before Blanco goes on to apply highlighter to her cheeks, nose, and chin. "This is cute," Blanco says, causing Gomez to pull a funny confused face as he continues blending.

The laughter continues as Blanco uses his fingers to apply highlighter to her jawline, with Gomez quickly telling him, “No, no, no. Hold on.” Blanco insists he’s “on to something” and goes to grab a brush while Gomez tries not to laugh. The video wraps up with Blanco spraying setting spray on both himself and Gomez.

At the end of the video, Blanco proudly declares, “I think it looks pretty good. Let me see. I don’t know. You look so hot.” Gomez zooms in on her final makeup look, and Blanco reaffirms his confidence in the comments section, writing, “Wait, I think I did well,” on TikTok and “I feel like I did pretty well” on Instagram.
