What shall the city do now that the Masters is gone? If only there were something... well lucky for you there is! The CSRA doesn't just stop now that golf week is over, it keeps on going!

If you need something to do this weekend in Augusta April 19 - April 21, we've got you covered.

This is certainly a busy weekend, so you might have to choose wisely what you want to get into.

For starters, if you didn't know the markets in the CSRA are back in full swing. The Augusta Market on the River started back on March 18 and goes every Saturday until mid-November.

This Saturday, April 20, Evans Market is back for the spring season. This will be the market's first appearance in the new market pavilion.  The market will be held from 9 am to 1 pm.

Columbia County Fair

The fair is in town! Friday, April 19 is the opening day. The fair will be in town until April 28.

Gate times for this weekend:

Fri. 4/19 - 5pm-11pm
Sat. 4/20 - 12noon-11pm
Sun. 4/21 - 1pm-10pm

Augusta Commons 70s party

Saturday, April 20

Gates open at 3 pm

Ever just want to go back in time? Whether it's for the culture, the music, the fashion, or just the vibes in general. The Augusta Commons is hosting a 70s party that will include live bands performing the 70s & 80s tunes from back in the day. The event will have vendors and a best-dressed contest.

Spring Fest '24

Saturday, April 20

9 am - 6 pm

Fort Eisenhower MWR presents Spring Fest ‘24. It is an event for everybody! Family fun activities, kid’s crafts, pony rides, pet adoptions, food vendors, the flea market, and live music! This will take place on Barton Field.
Admission is FREE and open to the public. Patrons planning to attend without a DoD ID card can pre-register.

Public Safety & Preparedness Fair

Saturday, April 20
9 am - 1 pm
Evans Towne Center Park for their third annual Public Safety & Preparedness Fair. Admission is free and there is something for everyone including carnival rides, live music, and food trucks.
This event is filled with tons you may just have to go out there and see for yourself. In the meantime here is a few things that will be at the fair:
  • Grovetown Public Safety - Rollover Demonstrator and a Seat Belt Convincer
  • Augusta University's Air Care team will bring their helicopter!
  • The Coast Guard Auxiliary
  • Gold Cross EMS vehicles
  • Department of Natural Resources bringing one of their boats and an ATV
  • CCSO Auxiliary will be providing free ID A Child services
  • Columbia County Animal Services will have pets available for adoption.
As you can see, this weekend is packed with a lot of good stuff and this is only half of it.
