South Carolina Restaurant Manager Saves Couple From Car Before It Bursts Into Flames

In coastal South Carolina, Joe Moreau, the manager of a Bonefish Grill, is being hailed as a hero for rescuing a couple trapped in their car after a three-vehicle crash.

According to WSBTV, Moreau went above and beyond. When he heard the crash, he acted swiftly, rushing to the scene to find the couple unable to open their car door.

With quick thinking and courage, Moreau managed to pry open the car door and pull the couple to safety just before their vehicle burst into flames. He says he then called on his managerial skills to manage the situation, directing someone to get a fire extinguisher while he helped another person from a different car involved in the crash.

Despite his heroic actions, Moreau humbly deflects praise. He says it was a team effort and that other good Samaritans at the scene also helped. He also credits his experience dealing with the chaotic environment of a busy restaurant with preparing him to calmly deal with the emergency situation.
