Krispy Kreme Introduces Four Festive Donuts For St. Patrick’s Day

Getty ImagesSt. Patrick’s Day is coming soon and to celebrate the day of the Irish, Krispy Kreme is introducing four new festive donuts for the occasion. According to TastingTable, the lineup is only available for a limited time and includes the following offerings:
- Luck of the Rainbow Donut – classic Original Glazed donut with green icing and a rainbow sprinkle blend topped with a cloud of buttercream.
- Shamrock Cookies ‘N Kreme Donut – includes a filling made from Oreos with a white icing dip, green drizzles, and St. Patrick’s sprinkles.
- Plaid Party Donut – a “Kreme” filled donut dipped in chocolate and drizzled with green icing.
- Shooting Shamrock Donut – an Original Glazed donut dipped in light green icing with a green icing swirl, topped off with a sugar piece shaped like a shamrock.
In addition to the four new donuts, Krispy Kreme is bringing back its O’riginal Glazed donut that’s dyed bright green and you can score a free O’riginal Glazed donut in person or at the drive-thru from March 15 through March 17 if you’re wearing green!
The St. Patrick’s Day collection can be purchased by the dozen with three each of the new donuts and select retailers will have a six-pack version. Go to Krispy Kreme’s website to find participating locations for the promotion.
