Man Wanted for Richmond County Shooting in September

Richmond County authorities are looking for a man who is wanted in connection with a shooting September 9 in Augusta.

Deputies were called to a report of a shooting in the 3900 block of Old Waynesboro Road.  The victim, Joseph Dillard, told deputies he was a passenger in a white 2000 Chevy Silverado when a man identified as "Block" approached the vehicle, hit him in the face with a pistol, then shot him in the buttocks.  Dillard was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say they are looking for Andrey Denorris Blockett.  He's black, 6'0" tall, 200 pounds and has a beard.  Blockett may be traveling in a Gold GMC Yukon XL with a dealer tag.  Blockett is wanted for Aggravated Assault.  He should be considered armed and dangerous.
