The "Thinking Out Loud" singer, 32, caught up with Snoop backstage at a show in Melbourne after Russell Crowe reportedly introduced the pair. Sheeran admitted he isn't much of a smoker himself, so he wasn't prepared for what he was getting himself into when he partook in the smoke sesh.

"I was in the dressing room, and they’re just [smoking] like blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt," Sheeran explains to O'Brien. Feeling the pressure and opportunity to say he's smoked with Snoop Dogg, the English singer-songwriter thought there would be no harm done if he just had "a bit." He recalls, "'I don’t feel too bad, this is good.' Then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more… I just remember looking at him and being like, 'I can’t see right now.'"
Conan's Least Favorite Guests
Elsewhere in the interview, Sheeran asked Conan who his least favorite guest on his late-night show was. Naming legendary singer and actress Eartha Kitt from when he was first starting out, Conan found the "Santa Baby" singer to be "very tough to talk to." When he told the Batman actress about previously dating James Dean, she'd respond, "Well, so what? Why are you asking me?" Defending Kitt's response, Ed pointed out, "That's not even a question. That's a statement!" Conan retorted that he was "brand new" and stated that Ed might just be his least favorite guest now. Further stating who his least favorite type of guests were without naming names, Conan said he didn't like entitled young actors "raised in a hydroponic environment" that didn't have "a lot of life experience."
