Another 90s Fashion Piece Is Back In Style And I Am Not Here For It
Another 90s fashion piece is back in style and I am not here for it. In fact, I want nothing to do with this particular style. It brings back memories of me almost being a teenager. I was around 11 years old when I had every shade of these shorts. Some of them even came with a hammer hook.
You could buy this particular fashion piece at any department store, or make your own out of an old pair of blue jeans. This is exactly what my parents did when I was a kid. Every time I grew, my jeans became jean shorts. By summer I had usually grown out of my jeans so my Mom would cut them below the knee and roll them up an inch. Today, we refer to these as “Jorts.” I can’t think of anything I would rather wear less.
I like that 90s fashion is back for the most part. The legs of blue jeans are back to their 90s width and most have a little bit of a stretch. I wear mine with a high-top Adidas shoe or a white Chuck Taylor.
In general, wearing big T-shirts and sweatshirts has been the most common trend I have seen. As we move higher into that decade it seems like trends are getting worse. In the TikTok below, the influencer is showing off all of the jorts that are becoming trendy again.
Maybe check with your parents to see if they have any of their old clothes that you can add to your wardrobe. Jorts are back and if you choose to wear them, they should only be complimented with a braided brown belt. Another 90s fashion piece is back in style and I am not here for it.
