Get To Know Me:
Hi, I’m Holly! I’m a 2 to 3 year old, possible Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzu mix and I weigh around 17 pounds.
When I was first found by animal control I was so underweight, matted and fearful. Sadly doggies like me don’t get many second chances unless rescues have fosters. As soon as my foster momma heard I was in desperate need of a helping hand, she jumped at the chance. All I needed was a few days to decompress and wow what a difference it made…
My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:
Now it’s time for me to find my furever home and to join a family to give me unconditional love. My ideal home would be an active one, who enjoys spending time with me. Going on adventures, playing outside or giving me lots of snuggles… I want it all. Being where my peeps are is the way to my heart… belly rubs, ear scratches, yummy treats is also a few of my favorite things. My foster mom calls that being spoiled and said it’s perfectly fine, I deserve it. They even let me sleep in the bed at night, who doesn’t love that?
I get along with other dogs, cats, kids and even chickens… I don’t mind most anything but I’m not the type to enjoy lots of high energy levels. I’m more relaxed and chill mode. Maybe a home with not a lot of younger kids or dogs, not to overwhelming. I enjoy some me time too, relaxing by the window while sunbathing. Sniffing around the backyard, watching the birds and chasing a squirrel from time to time.
You do have to watch me when it comes to the front door, I see an opportunity for a game of chase.. I’m taking it! I don’t understand why my foster family don’t see the excitement of it all. My foster mom just keeps saying how important it is that my forever family knows this! I mean she says I would be the perfect pup if I would stop trying to run out the door. I guess it is a big deal for you to know.
I’m also house trained, walk great on leash and crate trained ( if needed ). I’m very food motivated and eager to please. I’m ready for my happily ever after!
