Lizzo attends the 65th GRAMMY Awards on February 05, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

It’s about damn time! Lizzo blessed the 2023 Grammy red carpet with two looks in one this Sunday (February 5) night. The singer-songwriter showed up to the awards ceremony in a vibrant orange gown and matching cape by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress, in a light shade of orange, featured a corset bodice adorned with sparkling crystal vertical stripes. Her long cape, which doubled as a hood, was embellished with flowers in a deeper red-orange hue.

Lizzo’s went full monochrome, with her makeup mirroring her outfit’s color palette. The pop star, 34, wore ethereal orange eye shadow and blush, as well as a warm bronzy lip and a warm, golden highlight atop her cheeks. Her hair was styled in a curly, sleek ’do, and she rocked a matching orange manicure. She adorned her arms with mesh orange gloves and big diamond rings.

Lizzo Says ‘Trendy’ Cancel Culture Is ‘Appropriation’

Prior to the awards show, Lizzo posted a photo with her boyfriend Myke Wright on Instagram with the caption: “Hard Launch.” Though Lizzo remains private about their romance, she confirmed that she was officially off the dating market in an April 18 interview with Andy Cohen. SZA commented on the Instagram post: “A doll and her Ken” with heart eye emojis. Lori Harvey commented with a heart emoji, “We love a hard launch.”

Lizzo also shared various photos of her bright Grammys look on Instagram ahead of tonight’s ceremony. “Spring awakening,” she captioned a slideshow featuring different shots of her goddess-like outfit. She also shared a video of herself posing in the gown and cape, with a close-up of her glam. “Let’s go Grammys,” she wrote with a peach emoji. In another post, she quoted Miley Cyrus’ latest chart-topping single, “Flowers.” She captioned the post the line, “I can buy myself flowers.”

The star is performing at this year’s ceremony and is nominated for five Grammys: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Album of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. The nominations are for her chart-topping album Special and her single “About Damn Time.”
