Early voting and absentee ballot voting is over. Tuesday, November 8th is Election Day 2022. If you did not vote early, be sure to head to your polling location.
Election Day 2022: Be Prepared
First of all, you must be registered to vote. You will need to also have valid photo identification. This can include your driver’s license or U.S. passport. You will need to locate your designated polling place. If you are voting in Georgia, you can find it on your voter registration card, or search for it HERE. For South Carolina polling locations, you can search HERE.
Polling locations in Georgia and South Carolina will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for Election Day.
Voting In Georgia
In Georgia, the midterm elections will be to choose a new state legislature and all the state’s top executives. There are 14 U.S. congressional seats and one of 2 U.S. Senate seats up for election. Get more details on voting in Georgia HERE.
Voting In South Carolina
In South Carolina, the elections will be for state, federal, and county offices. This includes statewide offices including governor and lieutenant governor, all SC state house seats, 6 solicitors, one U.S. senate seat, all 7 congressional seats, and hundreds of county council seats. Election Day Coverage
Our station, WGAC will be providing Election Day coverage throughout the day on November 8th, along with results of local and state races starting at 8 p.m. You can tune in to 95.1 FM/AM 580 or listen with the free WGAC app. You can also keep up with the information online as well.
