The Amazon Fulfillment Center in Appling is looking for hundreds of workers.  The company is hosting a Warehouse Hiring Day Wednesday, October 26, at the Sheraton Hotel, 1060 Stevens Creek Road, in Augusta.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Amazon officials say they plan to hire hundreds of seasonal, full-time, and part-time workers for the Fulfilment Center in Appling.

Amazon says the seasonal jobs offer competitive pay that's higher than average, flexible shifts, and a pay feature that allows workers to choose their own payday.

You can apply online at hiring.amazon.com.  Applicants will have to create an account, then click the "apply" button next to the job you're interested in, then click "start application."  Officials say the process should only take about 5 minutes.

Jobs could be offered on the spot for those attending the Warehouse Hiring Event Wednesday.
