I'll admit, I have a love/hate relationship with psychological thrillers. They can be SO good, but really mess with your head! I just stumbled on this new movie coming to Prime Video, according to the Hollywood Reporter. It's called Goodnight Mommy. Apparently, it's a remake of a 2014 film of the same name. The movie features Naomi Watts as the mother, and her twin sons come to stay with her. Upon arrival, they find a woman they aren't sure is actually their mother. She's covered in bandages due to a recent cosmetic surgery. She's got some new rules and odd behaviors that lead the boys to question who she really is.
I think I definitely want to watch this one, but have a feeling it may freak me out a bit! I've never seen the original. Goodnight Mommy is set to come out on Prime Video on September 16th.
