Kanye West is celebrating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's breakup with Pete Davidson in his own way. Following reports that the couple called it quits on their well-publicized relationship, Ye reacted with a photoshopped New York Times front-page story on his Instagram today (August 8).

The altered image includes the headline “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28,” which, as fans may remember, is a reference to Ye’s nickname for the Saturday Night Live alum.

Also referenced in the Instagram-shared image, in a much smaller font at the bottom of the folded page, is Kid Cudi’s recent Rolling Loud Miami set. As we previously reported, Cudi had replaced Ye on the lineup after he pulled last minute. Festival organizers described the “circumstances outside of our control.”

“Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,” the text reads.
