A woman is headed to state prison after her murder conviction in Richmond County Superior Court.
Jurors found 47 year old Lakeesha Stokes guilty on multiple counts including felony murder for the fatal shooting four years ago of 62 year old Larry Gilbert White. The victim died during what prosecutors called a “fit of domestic rage” that resulted in the shooting in the 2500 block of Parkway Drive. Stokes was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
