CSRA News: Police Chase Ends in Deadly Crash in Richmond County
A police pursuit in Richmond County ended in a deadly crash Saturday night.
Deputies were pursuing a vehicle that collided with others at the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Troupe Street around 9:00 p.m. One vehicle burst into flames, another wound up on its side. 50 year old Raymond Allen of Elberton was pronounced dead at the scene. Several others were injured, but it’s not known how seriously.
Details of what led up to the crash haven’t been released yet.
