Two shootings in Richmond County on Sunday are under investigation.

The first one was reported just before 3:00 a.m. on Broad Street.  Investigators say a black male victim had at least one gunshot wound to the neck.  He’s reported to be in critical condition at Augusta University Medical Center.  A second gunshot victim drove himself to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.

The second shooting was reported on Washington Road next Alexander Drive around 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

Twenty nine year old Kelvin Taylor was taken into custody after allegedly firing shots at another vehicle.  No injuries were reported.  Taylor has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.  Investigators say the incident was not Masters-related.
