CSRA News: Par 3 Contest at Augusta National
Weather permitting, the annual Par 3 contest is scheduled for this afternoon at the Augusta National.
The contest, which is played every year the day before the start of the Masters Tournament, is scheduled to begin at noon. Live streaming video coverage will be available on Masters.com starting at 2:00 p.m. It’s a fun event for the golfers, who often have their children or other family members caddy for them. There’s a bit of superstition surrounding the event though. No golfer has ever won the Par 3 and the Masters in the same year.
