Meet Today's Wet Nose Wednesday Pup: Chappy!

Wet Nose Wednesday Chappy

Get To Know Me:

Hi, I’m Chappy! I am a little guy, coming in at around 5 whole pounds! I think I am a Tri colored Chihuahua but I know I’m 100% adorable! I came in to rescue after I was found locked in a dark kitchen for about a week because tragically, my owner had passed away. I was so scared no one would come for me, and I am lucky to be alive today. The vet thinks I am about 2 years old so I am still a puppy.

My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:

I need a family with lots of patience as I am still getting used to potty training, and I will need basic training and socializing as well. I love to play and would love to live with other dogs with the same energy level as me. I ride great in the car, walk great on a leash, and I love to be held!

The vet checked out my head tilt and said it could be an inner ear infection so we are treating that now. The head tilt doesn’t affect me, I can still run and play and be a normal dog. I do have heartworms, but we have started treatment for that also. I need a family that will make sure I am given my monthly heartworm pills for the rest of my life.

Send us a no-obligation application if you think you might be the right fit for me 🐾
