The City of Augusta’s Martin Luther King Jr. parade that was postponed earlier this month will be held this Saturday.
The city is teaming up with the Augusta chapter of the NAACP to host the black history parade in King’s honor from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. starting at Dyess Park Community Center on James Brown Boulevard. It will end on D’Antignac Street.
The theme of the event is, “When we fight, we win.”
