Betty White... a legend.  A beautiful woman, inside and out.  She lived a long, happy life, with so much success.

I was devastated when I heard of her passing.  You know it means something when you're 99 years old and people still think you're gone too soon.  THAT is inspiration for how we should live our lives!

Betty was kind, funny, and fully of wisdom.  I also love the fact that she was a big animal advocate.  It wasn't too long ago that I read an article where someone asked about her secret to living a long life-- and she said something to the affect of "I try not to eat anything green." She is my spirit animal!  I love animals-- and hate eating anything green.

What a life she lived.  What a beautiful legacy she leaves behind.  I was watching some episodes of The Golden Girls just yesterday and thinking about how loved she was and is! I stumbled upon this little gem of her wisdom too-- and think it is MORE than appropriate for these days!

Betty White-- may she rest in peace.

And here she is talking about the legacy she hoped to leave behind.  I think she's accomplished it all-- and more!
