Megan Fox’s Boys Crash Her Interview: ‘They Don’t Listen To Me At All’
Megan Fox appeared on Monday’s episode of TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, but some crawling tiny humans caught the hosts’ attention.
Video-chatting from a living room where Megan has been staying at her with her children, telling youngest son Journey, “You’ve got to crawl, you’ve got to crawl.” Her son pays absolutely no mind to her pleas and walks right behind her. “They just woke up. It’s 7:30 here. So, they woke up a few minutes ago, and it just is what it is. We’re just going to have to make it work.”
As host Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Savannah Guthrie try to discuss the 35-year-old’s upcoming horror flick, Till Death, they notice one of her kids crawling behind her, “Do you love the horror genre? Oh, my gosh look, sorry the baby’s going by again,” as Megan tries to contain her laughter.
“I do prefer not just straight–,” the Jennifer’s Body star began to answer, “There’s three of them, so you’re going to see all different colored hair.”
“We love it,” the ladies said in unison, as they were fully entertained by the young boys that Fox shares with ex Brian Austin Green. Fox continued to answer their question, “I prefer comedy infused with the thriller element or the horror element — that’s what Jennifer’s Body was. That would probably be the blueprint for me of my favorite projects thus far.” She noted that the psychological thriller Till Death has those elements.
Later in the segment, Fox was asked what it is like being a mother to kids Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 4. “I wish there was a way – I’m sure a lot of moms feel this way – where you could, just every once in a while for a day, put them all back at that 2, 3-year-old period because it’s hard to watch them grow up so quickly,” Fox said of her boys. “That is something I actually struggle with that a lot, I cry about it all the time, because they grow up so fast.”
“My phone will send me pictures of them when they were younger, and it’s hard to look at it,” she continued. “It’s painful to love something so much. But I have three boys. They are hilarious. They don’t listen to me at all.”
“I also feel like no matter how engaged you are or how hard you were trying at the time, you always look back, and you’re like, ‘I could have been more present’ or ‘I hope I was grateful for this while I was in that moment, ’cause I’ll never get that moment back,'” she continued, pointing to her kids in the background.
