Ed Sheeran Pranked Courteney Cox For Years With This NSFW Gift

Ed Sheeran kicked off his week-long residency on The Late Late Show With James Corden yesterday (June 28) by divulging the hilarious and ongoing NSFW prank he’s been playing on his good friend Courteney Cox.

Sheeran has been staying at Cox’s Malibu home whenever he’s in L.A. since 2013, and during that time, he's been giving naughty gifts to the Friends alum.

“She has this Alexa thing in her house, and she goes, ‘Isn’t this wonderful? This is my Alexa. I can just order whatever on this.’ So she walks out of the room, and — do you know what a gimp mask is?” 30-year-old Sheeran stopped to ask Corden, who nods that he knows exactly what it is. “So she walks out of the room,” Sheeran continued, “And I go, ‘Alexa, order me a gimp mask.’”

According to Sheeran, Cox’s assistant was the first to find the unexpected order, and "instantly goes, 'Oh! I don't think I was meant to see that,' and leaves it on Courteney's bed." Finding out the story behind the order, was not the end of the prank -- rather it was just the first of many.

“Now every time I go back there, I order her another gimp mask. She has maybe, like, 12 and then I hide them in people’s bedrooms. So they’ll go in the drawer and find this leather S & M mask,” Sheeran said with a laugh. “She had two people come and look at her piano to try and buy it -- two absolute strangers going into her house that I found out about. So I left a couple of masks on the piano.”
