Kanye West Wants His Next Relationship To Be With An Artist
Kanye West has been thinking about what he wants from a partner in his next relationship, Page Six reports.
A source told the media outlet that the newly single rapper wants his next relationship to be “with an artist and a creative person,” explaining that is it so “they can speak the same language to each other.”
43-year-old West is currently in the process of a divorce with Kim Kardashian after seven years of marriage. Prior to marrying Kardashian in 2014, West dated models Chanel Iman and Amber Rose.
Per the outlet, West has previously declared: “I am Michelangelo. I am Picasso.” He also told GQ, “I am unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time. It’s not even a question at this point. It’s just a fact.”
40-year-old Kardashian doesn’t seem to be focusing on dating, rather “remaking her image as a devoted mother,” as well as looking to “eventually enter politics,” the outlet reported. Apparently, in January there was a Twitter fan campaign for Kardashian to date CNN’s Van Jones.
A source told the outlet, “She’s not dating anyone because, if she were, it would be a career move. She can’t go to restaurants now on dates and have paparazzi [due to the pandemic]. She can’t date quietly; she doesn’t even understand what that would be like.”
Kardashian previously dated Ray J, Nick Cannon, and Reggie Bush and was previously married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, and Kris Humphries for just 72 days.
Kardashian filed for divorce on February 19th, with neither party listing a date of separation. Apparently, they hardly spoke in the months leading up to the divorce petition. The ex-couple are looking for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, though the filing of joint custody will likely grant Kim having the kids the majority of the time. They have both committed to co-parenting.
