Get to know me:

Hi, I’m Max! I’m a 4 year old possible Dachshund and Chihuahua mix and I weigh around 17 pounds. I have the most adorable short little legs. You might catch me running around Mr. Tees!! Screenprinting & Design.

I like to hang out with my foster mom while she tries to get some work done. Kinda hard when all I wanna do is sit in her lap and give her my undivided attention. Work is overrated, right?

I came into rescue with severe skin infections and was so emaciated. It’s taken a few months to get my skin under control and find out what treatment worked best for me. Over 80% of my fur has grown back and I keep improving each day. I’m no longer on medication and the vet said I will be good as new before you know it. Now it’s time for me to find my forever home.

My Perfect Fur-Ever Home:

My ideal family would be an active one for sure! I love going on walks, play time and my favorite is chasing squirrels around the back yard. A fenced in yard is best, I like to protect my area and keep everyone safe from any squirrels. I have a adventurous side and I’m very curious. I would also love a family that would allow me to cuddle on the sofa and snuggle up right in bed each night. I love being around my people, so be ready for cuddles! I’m great around dogs, children ( no toddlers) and I do pawsome around cats. I’m crate trained but I’m great outside my crate during the day if I don’t go to work with my foster mom. I’m also house trained and learn quickly with lots of positive reinforcement.

I really just want a family to give me lots of love. Could that be you?

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina. She started in the radio industry as a part-time board operator, and moved up through various roles, including on-air positions and program director for multiple stations.
