This year's theme is "Choose To Challenge."
International Women's Day has been celebrated since 1911, with the first actually being celebrated on March 19th in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The official date of March 8th was established in 1913, but the United Nations didn't officially celebrate the date until 1975!
It's a day to celebrate the many achievements of women in all different aspects of life: economic, social, cultural, political, etc.

Here at Beasley Media Group, we rounded up all of our ladies to get a group picture! We have many great women in our building who are accomplishing amazing things- being moms, wives, daughters, sisters, businesswomen, and so much more! Women wear many hats, and today we recognize their strength and beauty! It's not a day we bash anyone, but instead, we look to recognize the great things women have, and continue to accomplish!
