Coronavirus is quite literally altering everything, even slogans that we’ve grown up with for years. KFC has recently announced that they are temporarily retiring their “Finger Lickin’ Good” slogan.

They shared the news with a video showing old billboards and marketing material with the famous phrase blurred out. In the clip, they wrote, “That thing we always say? Ignore it. For now.”

Per CNN, KFC recently said in a statement that since health officials recommend that everyone stop touching their faces to slow the spread of COVID-19, their old message doesn’t feel quite right. “We find ourselves in a unique situation — having an iconic slogan that doesn’t quite fit in the current environment.”

They add that the menu won’t change, and the slogan will return at a later time.
