We’re always so thankful for the listeners who make up our radio family around here each and every day. But today, August 20 – National Radio Day – we’re especially thankful for the amazing gift you all give us by letting us be a part of your lives.

Local radio is the lifeblood of most communities and we’re honored to be a part of your day. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

National Radio Day gives us a chance to celebrate the power of free local radio. For 100 years now, since the first radio station went on air in Detroit on August 20, 1920, local radio has served a vital purpose.

We’re here for you 24 hours a day, whether that’s on your radio dial, or streaming free on our website or mobile app. We are proud to deliver you the latest music, news and information to help make every one of your days better. We’re here for you for free during good times and bad, and love being here day in and day out.

And going forward, we’ve got big plans to do more to help keep you engaged and entertained. So be on the lookout for fun new contests, promotions, programs and more!

Thank you again for letting us be a part of your lives. National Radio Day means a lot to us, and we hope you’ll keep engaging with us.

Happy National Radio Day,

Your Beasley Augusta Radio Team
