NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 10: Rapper Cardi B (Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) departs from Queens Criminal Court on December 10, 2019 in New York City after a hearing to answer to charges over strip club incident. Cardi B has been charged in a 14-count indictment, including two counts of felony attempted assault on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in the Flushing section of Queens.

Cardi B recently took to Twitter in a now-deleted rant to share why Kylie Jenner had a cameo in her “WAP” video featuring Megan Thee Stallion. “Why did I put Kylie on my music video? she treated my sister and daughter so lovely at her kid bday party,” Cardi B wrote, according to Complex. “Travis and Set are real close and Kris Jenner have giving me advice on certain things I ask for and her husband real cool with mine.”

The Bronx rapper also told Apple Music that the “WAP” video is supposed to highlight “a lot of different females, not just women rappers.” “Not everything is about race,” Cardi B said in another deleted tweet. “There’s issues out here in the world that it is about race that I preach all the time about. This [sic] is not about f—in race.”

As we previously reported, Cardi B released the visual to her single “WAP” on Friday (Aug. 7), and the rapper received a slew of criticism on social media for including Kylie Jenner.
