There have been rumors swirling that The Ellen DeGeneres Show is getting canceled. This comes after news that ratings are dropping, and the rumors may be fuelled by the multiple stories circulating that Ellen is unkind off-camera. But her staff is putting those rumors to rest.

Per the Daily Mail, producers for the show have denied it’s ending. “Telepictures can confirm it’s untrue.”

Since the coronavirus outbreak, DeGeneres has broadcasted her daytime show from home. However, since then, there have been multiple reports that paint the talk show host in a negative light.

In April, Variety reported that crew members were upset over lack of communication or transparency about their jobs and because their pay was reduced. They also said that Ellen hired an outside production company to help produce her shows during quarantine instead of using her regular employees.

There were also negative stories going around after comedian Kevin T. Porter asked his followers to post “insane stories” about “Ellen being mean.” That post received thousands of comments, likes, and retweets.

Influencer NikkieTutorials also recently spoke out about her time visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about how cold and negative the experience was.
