Beasley Best Community of Caring

We miss our friends (and furry friends) from the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare in Aiken so much and want to remind you that there are still amazing animals that need loving homes!

Hi, I’m Tyson (male). I’m a 1-year-old mixed breed, who came to the SPCA Albrecht Center as a stray. Even though I’ve never had a home of my own, I love people and spending time with you. I enjoy going for walks, playing in the water, showing off my commands for a yummy treat and then taking a nice nap. I’m heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you! The SPCA covers the cost of treatment – all you have to do is bring me in for checkups until I’m heartworm negative. The staff is happy to educate you on heartworms and show you that it doesn’t make me any less lovable, and I will still live a long and happy life with you. My adoption fee is $75 and includes my neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm treatment and microchip.

Updated adoption hours to limit foot traffic:
Monday – Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.
199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801
To keep our staff safe & health, and, thus, our animals safe & healthy, we ask that supporters do not visit the shelter animals at this time.  ONLY serious adopters and volunteers are allowed in the Adoption Center.  Not sure if you want to adopt?
