Denzel Washington is getting praise on social media for a heroic feat that was caught on tape. He was seen acting as a barrier between a police officer and a homeless man out in West Hollywood. His presence appeared to diffuse the situation, and afterward, the homeless man was arrested.
As another social media user added, Washington also got the man food and drinks and calmed him down. This video is getting a lot of attention, especially on the heels of the recent police brutality incident with George Floyd in Minneapolis. Denzel Washington is trending on Twitter, and people are flooding to the social media site to praise how the actor used his celebrity.
