Carnival Cruise Sales Are On The Rise
With Carnival cruises set to resume schedule in August, people immediately hopped back on board (literally)…
A mere three days after Carnival announced their August reopening, sales spiked 600 percent which is oddly 200 percent more than 2019 sales pre-pandemic. Travel representatives stated that hundreds of clients have began booking these cruises especially with the deals that are being offered.
It seems as though the common consensus amongst the hopeful travelers is of pretty low concern. Those that have booked their trips are anxiously awaiting getting out of lockdown and banking on being young and healthy. Although Carnival does have an August 1st reopen date for some of its ships, it’s being emphasized that there is no guarantee. Carnival stated “we continue to work with various government agencies, including the CDC, as we introduce new onboard protocols, but there is no assurance of a return on August 1.”
Even though people are craving a sense of normalcy and adventure, I’m not sure that an isolated cruise ship would be my first choice…
