Lizzo Shares a Message About Self-Hatred
UNSPECIFIED LOCATION - APRIL 18: In this screengrab, Lizzo performs during "One World: Together At Home" presented by Global Citizen on April, 18, 2020. The global broadcast and digital special was held to support frontline healthcare workers and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the UN Foundation.
On Monday (Apr. 2o), Lizzo took to Instagram and shared a message about self-hatred. “It’s been a long-a– day. Focus on a body part u don’t like about yourself and show it some love today,” Lizzo wrote in the caption of a video that the singer shared of herself turning around in a circle while wearing lingerie.
“This quarantine has a lot of people suffering from mental health issues because we can’t get out and do our normal coping/self-care routines… Self-hatred was starting to creep up on me but I gotta remember I’m 110% that [expletive] love you!” Lizzo concluded.
