BREAKING: Gov. Kemp Announces Many Georgia Businesses to Reopen Friday

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced Monday that several types of businesses will be allowed to reopen this Friday. The shelter-in-place order put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the state, is still active until April 30. (Read the Governor’s full statement here.)

Additionally, several other types of businesses will be allowed to reopen on Monday, April 27, the Governor said.

All of these businesses will have to meet minimum basic operations to be open, including screening workers who show symptoms of illness, as well as increased sanitation.
