Since we’re all watching more TV than ever (it’s ok to admit it), I’m going to feature a different binge-worthy show each week!
Some features will be ones you may have already seen, but hopefully it can get more people hip to the shows you love and you yourself may even find a new one here!
No spoiler alerts will be revealed, just plot summaries, lead actors, what to expect, and the streaming service you can binge it on!
The next binge-worthy show that will go down as one of my all-time favorites: Schitt’s Creek
Streaming Service: Netflix
Seasons: 6 (but only 1-5 are currently on streaming platforms)
Starring: Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, and Chris Elliot (you may know him as the “take my strong hand” butler in Scary Movie 2 lol)
Plot Summary: The Rose family, made up of Catherine O’Hara, Eugene and Daniel Levy, and Annie Murphy, were once millionaires who trusted their financial adviser a little too much. They lose all of their fortune except one minor thing they own… a little town called Schitt’s Creek. They are forced to move into a dingy motel and get accustomed to a life of no fame and no fortune.
What to Expect: A comedy that highlights a once rich family navigating this new way of life, learning more about themselves and forming unlikely friendships, all while making the audience fall in love with each character through hilarious quick wit, originality, and charm.
I have not yet seen the final season so NO SPOILERS haha- If you’re looking for an amazing, heartwarming show that will surely make you laugh, Schitt’s Creek is the one for you.
